| CTRP4

C1q/TNF-related protein 4 (CTRP4), the unique member of CTRPs family with two globular C1q domains connected by a short linker, was mainly distributed in brain, adipose tissue, and also existed in circulation. CTRP4 attracted wide attention due to its diverse effects, including reducing appetite, regulating inflammatory response, modulating glucose and lipid metabolism. Involved in positive regulation of cytokine production and positive regulation of signal transduction. Located in extracellular space.
